Health Impacts of Climate Change

On June 23, 2015, CBC News online had an article titled "Climate change called 'medical emergency'". The article discusses the recently released Lancet report on climate change and global health. The report indicates that direct health impacts arise from more intense and frequent extreme weather events; indirect impacts arise from air pollution, food insecurity, changes in patterns of infectious diseases, malnutrition, conflicts and displacement.
